Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Training and Research Hospital Nuclear Medicine Center, serves with 3 Specialist,3 Nuclear Medicine Technicians and 2 secretaries under the presidency of prof.Dr.Taner ERSALCAN member of Faculty of Medicine Department of Nuclear Medicine
Our center is still in service in the old hospital service building in Orhaniye District of İsmet Çatak Street.
Nuclear medicine methods with detection of serious illnesses, treatment and follow-up is possible. Generally, diseases can be detected before other clinical findings can be detected by other radiological methods and, in the early period of the disease, by nuclear medicine methods. Thus, the disease can be treated more successfully and more progress.

In addition, patients with hyperthyroidism are treated and followed up with radioactive iodine 131.
